– I know that many of you are making appointments for students for April and May.  We will be testing for ILEARN and NWEA from 9:30-11:30 AM on April 23-25, April 30-May 3, and May 7-8.  Please limit appointments during this time.

-Our 7th grade is raising funds to buy a Water Buffalo through Heifer International.  They are hosting a 90s Decade Dance on Friday, April 12.  The cost is $5 and students must buy a ticket at lunch next week to come to the dance.  We will have concessions that evening for sale.

-This is a reminder for all of our students that get dropped off – Students may not exit cars until 9:00 AM.  If you have set up a meeting with a teacher, then the teacher will let you in.

-As part of our IXL and reading push, we are having weekly challenges for students to show they “Excel at IXL” and read 20 minutes an evening.  Students will receive a slip each Monday and when they work on IXL Diagnostic and their wall or read 20 minutes during the evening, parents can sign their slip.  We will collect the slips each Monday.  Mr. Thiems has put together a video of how to do Diagnostic IXL here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LB9jyp2ERrE&feature=youtu.be

– PTO will be collecting school supplies in order to donate to our TERRIFIC teaching staff. Students who bring supplies in will receive a free slushee on Thursdays during their assigned lunch periods. Ask your advisory teacher for a brown paper bag to put your supplies in and complete the form attached to the bag. All supplies must be submitted to Mrs. Richmond in the bookstore. Know that all school supplies should be brand new.   Please contribute if you are able to do so.  Bags are also available at Ms. Clarkson’s desk.
